This section covers cemeteries in France. This area has the greatest number of burials sites for the Great War outside of the United Kingdom; with more than 1800 cemetery locations. This reflects the nature of this area being the main battlefront with fighting at Loos, the Somme, Arras and Hindenburg Line.
