Silent Cities |
|

|
| Silent
Cities was started by Paul Reed (pictured above)
after nearly 30 years of visiting cemeteries from both World Wars,
right across the globe. Paul is a military historian and author, and
regularly works with the BBC on Timewatch and Meet The Ancestors.
He is also Head Battlefield Guide for Leger
Holiday's WW1 tours.
The task of producing the website,
aided by many friends and contacts, is a labour of
love as several of Paul's ancestors lie buried or are
commemorated in the Silent Cities this website lists.
The site is also partnered with
Paul's WW2
Cemeteries website, in the aim that every British
& Commonwealth war cemetery and memorial will be
online, together with much additional information on
those who are buried or commemorated there.
Their Name Liveth For Ever More.
